Another Busy Week

This literary journalism paper that we are writing right now has been the hardest paper I have had for this course. I am just having the hardest time figuring out what to say. Hopefully it will come together in the next couple of days.

In the mean time, I have a few other things to keep me busy. But this is the last week I have to do discussion boards for my two online classes. That should give me a little extra time to study for a test I have coming up in Marketing 445. Then I have a speech coming up on Monday that I need to be working on. Then I have a few papers in 3 other classes that I have to write. This semester I can not quite figure out. It doesn’t seem like any of my classes should be way too hard, but with all of them together it seems like this is my hardest semester I have ever had. If I can make it through this semester with mostly A’s and B’s I will be pretty excited. And the future is looking bright. I just got advised for next semester and I am only going to be taking 12 hours. After taking 18 hours for the past 3 semesters it should be a really nice break. And it looks like my schedule is going to be Tuesday and Thursday afternoon class, a class on Wednesday night, a class on Thursday night, and then an online class. Sounds pretty great…4 day weekends every weekend…I’m sure I can find something to do.

  1. Wow, you seem like you got a lot going on!

I understand what you're saying about this Literary Journalism paper. It's been the hardest for me to write too.

You are lucky about next semester's 12 credits! I have to take 21. I'll just be happy when it's all over with.

  2. My week has been very hectic also! I can't wait until the weekend is here, and I can relax and watch the LSU game. Good luck getting everything done this week!

  3. Next semester, I'm going to be able to have 4-day weekends also! I cannot wait!! This semester can't end fast enough for me. It's been brutal! LOL

Good Luck on getting all of your work out of the way and on the Literary paper. (the example Ms. Smith has posted on Moodle, really helped me.)

BTW- The most hours I've ever taken in a given semester has been 15. I can't imagine taking more than that! You're a trooper!

  4. All of the papers for this class have been difficult for me. It takes me forever to decide on a topic because I am a very private person and it is difficult for me to open up and share these private things with the public. I have considered many topics but in the end, I change my mind because I know that it is too much information. I expected this style of writing to be much easier for me. (I should not think when I am not used to it.) This class certainly has taught me a lot so far, but then that’s the point, right? Nonetheless, this class is interesting and I really do enjoy the blogs. It’s like my own place to vent or brag.

I am ready for a break myself. The closest thing I wil have to a break will be Thanksgiving. I will be having mouth surgery the Wednesday before, I will be totally drugged, and drinking broth. Doesn't that sound like fun?

  5. You do have alot going on! I know the feeling when you thought you were going to have a laid back semester and then find out it's more than you bargained for. You are a trooper for taking 18 hours for consecutive semesters, I would be nervous taking all those hours because I know I would be overwhelmed and stressed so I just stick to what I know.

  6. You won't know how to act next semester with that free time. You always have something going on, so I am sure it won't be hard for you to find something to occupy your time. Good luck with everything this semester. We only have a couple more weeks to go.

  7. I can't see how anyone can take 18 hours but that's amazing. I'm struggeling with the idea of taking 15 next semester. Well this semester is almost over! Good luck
